While B-42 focuses on food-grade flexible packaging, this application covers the broader flexible packaging universe: non-food packaging (hygiene products, cosmetics, consumer chemicals, lubricants in bag-in-box packaging, industrial product packaging), pharmaceutical packaging (blisters with complex film, medication sachets, disposable medical device packaging), and technical packaging (for electronics, for sample transport, for hazardous product containment). PU adhesives for these segments have specific technical requirements: resistance to aggressive solvents (in chemical packaging), resistance to pharmaceutical products (with specific regulations), performance in extreme climate conditions (some products are transported globally). Massive global market, with commodity dynamics in volume but premium segments of extremely high technical value.
