Industrial air and liquid filters

Reticulated PU foams (with fully open cells in controlled structure) are used as filtration elements in multiple applications: air pre-filters in residential and commercial HVAC systems, air filters in industrial equipment, air filters in automotive air conditioners (cabin filters), air filters in industrial dust collection systems, pre-filters in water purification systems, specific filters for contaminant retention in industrial processes. Reticulated foam filtration works by a combination of mechanical retention (particles larger than the cellular channels get trapped) and adsorption (smaller particles adhere to the cellular structure). Variants with activated carbon in reticulated structure remove odors and chemical compounds from the air. Massive market — virtually every HVAC system has reticulated foam pre-filter.
