Automotive TPU PPF films

PPF (Paint Protection Film) is an aliphatic TPU film applied over automotive paint for protection against scratches, stone impacts, insects and chemical contamination. The film is virtually invisible when correctly applied and preserves the vehicle's original paint. It is growing in popularity in premium vehicles and in intensive-use vehicles.

Modern films have advanced properties:

• Self-healing: light scratches disappear with heat (sun or warm water)
• Hydrophobic: repels water and dirt
• Anti-yellowing: aliphatic TPU maintains transparency for years under UV
• Easy application: removable adhesives without damaging paint

Premium segment includes matte PPF (transforms glossy car into matte), colored PPF (effectively "re-wrapping" the car), ceramic-coated PPF (with extra anti-contamination properties).
