What it is
Rollers are cylindrical rotating components that support conveyor belts in multiple positions: carrying rollers (upper, supporting the belt with ore/product), return rollers (lower, empty belt), impact rollers (at the loading point where material falls on the belt), guide rollers (lateral alignment), self-aligning rollers. Massive industrial transport systems (ore conveyor belts in mining, grain belts in port terminals, belts in cement plants, belts in sugar mills) can have tens of thousands of rollers in operation. PU coating replaces traditional rubber on specific rollers offering longer service life (2-4x), lower operational noise and better resistance to oils and chemicals. For impact rollers specifically, PU with resilience + durability combination is reference technology. Significant volume market given the number of rollers in heavy industrial operations.
